Today we will learn the best recipe of Brinjal (Eggplant or Baingan). This recipe is so quick and healthy and tasty.
Brinjal Recipe
Ingredients we used
500 g Brinjal
4 to 5 potato (you can increase or decrease the quantity of potato as per your requirement)
Some people like more potato in brinjal and some people like less potatoes. I personally likes more potatoes in Brinjal recipe or Baingan ki sabji.
Onion, Tomato, Cumin, Chilli, Asafoetida, Salt, Oil
But make sure to use potato in this recipe, here potatoes plays the most important role.
Steps
Firstly cut the brinjal and tomato into pieces.
Take a cooker, add 3 teaspoon of mustard oil (You can decrease the quantity as per your requirement).
Heat the oil.
After the oil is heated, add 1/2 teaspoon of Cumin , cumin seeds will start noise and change into brown colour.
Then, add 1 chopped onion, and roast the onion in oil till it turns into brownish pink.
Add one tomato (optional)
Now add brinjal and potato together.
Add Salt, 1 Tsp of Turmeric, 1/4 tsp of Asafoetida (Hing), Chilli,
Close the lid of cooker, wait for the 3 whistle
After the 3 whistle, release the pressure immediately.
Take a big spoon to mix the Sabji and you can garnish with green Coriander.
Enjoy it with Roti.
