How to make Lemon Tea

Lemon tea ia a anit-inflammatory beverage that works wonder when it comes to:

  • Boosting your immune system

  • enhancing your metabolism

  • Regulating your digestive system

Fact:

Citric acid content in lemons is remarkably high, it helps to clean the liver toxins.

Lemon Tea Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 Lemon Juice

  • 1 Inch Piece of Ginger

  • 1 and 1/2 (Half cup ) of Ginger

  • Honey, Sugar or Jaggery (as per your taste)

  • Lemon Slices to garnish

Method:

  • In a Saucepan boil the water on high flame

  • After boiling the water add ginger piece and sugar (jaggery). And if you are using honey you do not have to pour honey with ginger.

  • Slow the flame and let the ginger, sugar simmer about 5 to 7 minutes.

  • After 5 to 7 minutes turn off the flame.

  • Add lemon juice .

  • Enjoy the tea and garnish with lemon slices.

Note : And if you are using honey, pour it in the tea with lemon juice, honey do not require the boiling.
