Papdi Chaat is a Indian Traditional Fast food or street food. Indians Usually make it on Hoil Festival. Don't afraid about ingredients, only few ingredients are require to make papri chaat. And these ingredients are usually available at home.

Papdi Chaat Recipe

Ingredients Used In Making Papri

  • 1 Cup Refined Wheat flour (Maida or मैदा)

  • 1 Teaspoon of Ghee (Clarified Butter)

  • 1 Teaspoon Ajwain

  • Mix them all together

  • Using water make a slightly tight dough

Let's Make Papdi

  • Take a small Ball of dough and roll it to make a circular structure to make papdi.

  • After making the papdi, make small cuts in it to prevent air from getting trapped.

  • After making all the papdies fry them on medium flame.

  • when they start changing their colour white to slightly red remove them from oil.

  • Papdi is ready

Let's Make Chatni For Papdi Chaat

Imli (TAMARIND)Chatni is most widely used in India. And without Imli (Tarmarind) Papdi Chaat is incomplete.

Ingredients Used in Tamarind (इमली) Chantni

  • 1 Cup Tamarind or 10rs Tamarind

  • 2 Pieces of jaggery used in a cup of Tamarind (You can increase or decrease the quantity as per your taste)

  • Red Chili (as per you taste)

Recipe of Tamarind Chatni

  • Take a saucepan, and pour Tamarind water into the saucepan.

  • Heat it until it boils.

  • Add 1/2 tsp of Red chili, 1 tsp of Fennel and coriander powder, 2 Cloves, 1 Cardamom.

  • After boiling the chatni make sure to heat the chatni until it becomes little thick or After reaching normal temperature, the chutney will become little more thicker.

  • Chatni is Ready, enjoy it with Papdi.
